Hey, so I have created this thread for the specific purpose of creating our own tier list by collaboration, disscussion, and logic.

Here is how i would like it to work:

The first person who posts needs to say who they think should be the last on the list and why. Give a good reason and not just "he/she is a bad char, or he or she is too slow."

Kirby should be bottom, he's so floaty.

pikachu should be last, utilt has so little knockback you have to use it like 6 times in a row just to hit your opponent anywhere.

on a serious note, there is a pretty recent thread in which we are trying to make a tier list using a matchup chart. people aren't really contributing as much currently though, but hopefully it will get back on track.

I said to give VALID reasons. Kirby being floaty is exactly the kind of post i discouraged. Also, kirby is WAY better than last. I would say #3 (possibly #4 behind cfalcon.) He can gimp easily, has an up-tilt with and EXTREMELY disjointed hitbox that combos into itself and SHFFl'd attacks. Very good recovery aids this. As well, having the fastest forward smash in the game helps. Good grab range as well. As well, his tourney results prove that he is much better than last.

As for me, i believe that samus should be last. Her lack of combo ability, floatyness, rather high-lag and predictable moves. Over-reliance on just a few moves (such as dair, bair, and to a certain extent, forward smash), and being rather easy to gimp. She has many terrible matchums, and is outprioritized in the air by almost everything (save bair). I think that she has potential, but that potential is greatly limited.
