To see who actually noticed we hardly have any Melee Characters.

less than half you need to work on your math there's 12 confirmed vet characters and there's 12 not confirmed so that half not less than half and on top of that some of those vet characters a clones so i really dont count those. But ya so there's some returning characters that we're going to have to unlock again.

You're assuming that we'll get all of the vets back. We're definitely not getting all of the vets.

6/25 is less than 1/4th of the roster.

TC, I agree. I didn't notice it was half until I saw that pic. These are who I expect are definitely back: C. Falc., Ganondorf, Jigglypuff, Luigi, Game & Watch.

Based on leakers, I also think Falco and Sheik will be back. Not sure where Marth and Ness stand. Everyone that I did not name probably won't be back, at least not in their Melee form (Young Link will probably return as Wind Waker Link).

Well there is a theory floating around that hidden characters from 64 will remain hidden and unanounced. That means Ness, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, and Luigi will remain unconfirmed and secret characters. I believe all 4 of those characters will be returning.

As for Sheik, I am confident she will return most likely as Zelda's counter part but I would like to see her as a seperate character.

I am sure one of either Roy or Marth will return, if not both.

I think Pichu and Doc will get cut.

The rest are 50/50.

All the characters that haven't been shown yet, with the exception of Sheik, were hidden in either 64 or Melee. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Honestly I just see Ness, Pichu, Roy, and Dr. Mario not returning.

I'm starting to worry about Sheik's non-confirmation though.

Mr. Game & Watch is returning for sure. The franchise icons is basically definite proof that he's returning.
