I bought it several days ago, and have found myself loving it. The game mechanics are the same as always, with their advantages and disadvantages: mindless destroying of everything to attain levels of convoluted collecting almost on the level of a Donkey Kong game.
There are a ton of characters, each with their own abilities and unique attributes (I cannot express how much I love the way the Riddler walks around Arkham) and little touches that make everything better. Like Bane's Lego Spinebreaker.
Some things don't make sense, like why every villain who can stand to touch toxins has toxic footprints, or why Demolition Batman can blow up solid metal, but not shatter a glass windowpane. But those are minor points of confusion, which can be easily forgotten by playing as Nightwing. I never thought I would say this, but Nightwing is amazing here.
So has anyone else here played it?
