Last time we had around 32 people, which was a nice turnout.
This next tournament will follow this ruleset:
Venue Fee of $3, $5 entry
Free pizza for contestants.
Entry fee will be split 55% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, and 15% for 3rd.
3 stock, 8 mins, no items
Double Elimination
Winners finals, Losers finals, and Grand finals are best of five.
Everything else is best of three.
Random seeding.
Striking system to pick the stages to fight on, stages include:
Starter stages:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Lylat Cruise
Smashville
Yoshi’s Island
Counterpick:
Castle Siege
Pokemon Stadium 1
Delfino Plaza
Halberd
Striking method:
The first game is played on a Stage selected from the Starter Stage List either by mutual consent or through the Stage Striking Method.
The player that won the previous match may announce one "Stage Ban" if they have not already done so in this set.
The player that lost the previous match announces the stage for the next match from either the Starter or the Counterpick Stage List. Any Stage named as a "Stage Ban" by the either Team may not be selected. No Stage may be used by a Team that has already won on that Stage in this set.
