Ledgegrabbing

I am in desperate need for help. This is a problem I ONLY have with Charizard. 30% of the time, Charizard just flies straight through the ledge during his up b and landing on the stage, getting me punished time and time again. I mean, sometimes it's good to fly through the ledge and hit my opponent, but most of the time I just get punished and punished hard. I don't know how to make Charizard reliably grab the ledge or go through the ledge when I need him to, and is becoming extremely frustrating. I just want to scream at Charizard, GRAB THE GODDAMN LEDGE!!! as he gets warlock punched...

Charizard doesn't grab the ledge until the end of Fly's animation.

So go a bit lower.

Go deep and time your fly to reach the ledge at the end of the animation. He only grabs at the end.

Like others have said don't use Up B so close to the ledge otherwise he won't grab it. Also don't hold down during Up B as it prevents you from grabbing the ledge.
