Ledge to stage

So I cannot get the timing right for the ledge to stage action. About 50% of the time I can miraculously land a F-air to stage but it doesnt get a hit off, he just has his fist on the ground. And I was trying to get the Air dodge to stage down but it seems impossible.

SO my questions are,

1. Do you use down or back to ledge drop?
2. How do you get enough Di to make it onto the stage and connect with moves or get on the stage alone in some cases?
3. Timing?

Dolphin, I share your pain.

I made an exhaustive thread about Ledge-to-Stage options a couple weeks ago that you should check out: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=204534 . Yeah, it's a timing/feeling thing. I still can't get anything other than a DAir up onto the stage consistently, but what use is that, right? Stick with Back Ledge Drop and crush your DI up and into the stage. Let me know if you figure out some "trick" to make this consistent.

Is fair to stage supposed to hit? cuz i can only make in into the landing animation before the attack is executed. Am I missing something?

Okay so I have been practicing and I can land a few F-airs on stage but so far this tech seems unusable due to the high risk factor of you falling to your doom. I've seen a vid where someone mastered it but that seems unreal because the timing seems as tho it has to be so slim.

Oh and btw i can land the d-air almost every time hyper, idkn what I am doing wrong for the f-air. I also would like to know how to get the ledgedrop>AD>stage to work. Swoops and kosk can do this on command tho? I would like to see cuz it would be valuable to me if I could somehow nail this.
