With the combination of Diddy's kong projectiles and aerial frame data, he has is one of the best at covering options at the ledge. He also has some handy tricks for Ledge trumping, and Edge Guarding. If you have any tips and tricks, don’t hesitate to post them below and I add them to the OP.

Ledge Coverage

Peanuts

Options that can be beaten: Neutral Get-up, Get-up Attack, Roll, Jump

Options that are consistently beaten: Get-Up Attack, Roll

Peanuts are generally an overlooked projectile as unlike most quick projectiles, it can't be used to net grabs or rack up quick damage. However, when an opponent is at the ledge it can prove to be a viable option. With proper spacing and timing, shooting peanuts when the opponent is at the ledge can consistently beat Get-Up attack and Roll. This is because when shooting peanuts at a constant pace the opponent will almost always get hit if they roll onto the stage, the same with get-up attack. However, against a smart opponent none of the above options will usually work. Since a competent player won’t mindlessly roll into an incoming peanut, get-up attack when nobody is their, or choose to do a neutral get-up or ledge jump when the peanut is approaching them. If you send a mix of charged and uncharged peanuts you might be able to catch them but ultimately it’s a mind game. Peanuts are most effective for Ledge Pressure. Meaning they can’t mindlessly choose an option and not get hit.

Peanuts+Banana in hand

Options that can be covered: Neutral Get-up, Get-up Attack, Roll, Jump

Options that are consistently beaten: Get-Up Attack, Roll, Jump, Neutral Get-Up

This is when Diddy is at his deadliest. While shooting peanuts and with a banana in hand, diddy can effectively react to almost any ledge option. When mastered, you should always net a punish on the opponent.

Peanuts+Banana on Ledge lip

Options that can be beaten: Neutral Get-up, Get-up Attack, Roll, Jump

Options that are consistently beaten: Neutral Get-up, Get-up Attack,

This is another strong option, as it automatically eliminates 2 options. We already know how peanuts function so with this it’s all the more deadlier. You can even opt to not shoot peanuts and stay right where their roll animation would end letting you punish with whatever you want. Overall, this is a super strong option and can be easily set-up if you launch them off-stage.

Ledge Trumping

We all know what ledge trumping is. Simply grabbing the ledge right when the opponent grabs it. The cool thing about is that it’s great for denying the opponent from the stage, and can even set-up for guaranteed hits/kills due to the fact that when trumped the character goes into a set knockback and stun. However, it’s pretty obvious when you are going to go for the ledge trump since you need to be dashing or standing right at the ledge, but with a few mix-ups and conditioning we can trump effectively.

Monkey Flip

Side B is great for ledge trumping as you can run off the stage and side back on the ledge successfully trumping them. Usually the opponent won’t be expecting to get trumped the first time they get off-stage so this is good for catching them off-guard. You can even do the kick part to stage spike them, but that’s too risky as you can’t do anymore special moves after the kick, and probably used your jump to position yourself for the trump.

Barrels

Up B is a good mix-up for trumping as nobody expects it because you don’t have to be close to the ledge, nor do you need a running start. You need to be careful though, because if unsuccessful you might SD or crash against the stage so if you want to use it, you need to lab it up.

These 2 mix-ups are viable options for ledge trumping and combined with conditioning, the opponent might want to quickly choose a get-up option making the banana and peanut set-ups all the more consistent.

Edge guarding

When the opponent has lost invincibility and is hanging on the ledge you can hit them with d-tilt, down smash, barrels, f-tilt(angled down), banana, and d-air. All of these are good options, but d-air is the most rewarding but most strict. D-air only works on battlefield, since the lip makes it so the hitbox goes below the stage. If you execute it properly, you can spike them the second the grab on. If you fullhop and d-air you can properly execute your attack. Barrels are also good because if you Jump and charge them you will descend down a bit, when you release them you can hit the opponent with them and will usually always kill. Both of these set-up though are really unconventional, but it doesn’t hurt using all of your tools to your advantage.

If you have tips, tricks, videos, you would like to share just put them below and I’ll add them.

Reserved. Should I use spoilers to organize the methods?

Thanks for the post. It was very helpful!

And I don't think you need to add spoilers for organization, the formatting looks great.
