I think it's not version specific (I think I have like ver. 1.2 or something)
It's hard.
(Assuming 0 degrees is straight up)
I discovered "Fake LCT" when basically you hit the ledge with tele in a 20-45 degree Teleport higher than the actual ledge grabbing portion but below landing on the stage.
Signs that you're Fake LCTing:
-m2 lands on two feet with smoke poofing out
-it's laggy
Actually doing LCT -seems- completely random. I'm guessing it requires a specific angle of Tele at a specific part of the ledge.
If it truly is this hard to control, using it would be hard, seeing as the firefox style stall isn't infinite. I've only done it by spamming the Firefox style stall. (press the buttons the exact same way)
The reason why it's not infinite is that M2 doesn't grab the stage rightaway. (taj's version DOES)
Notes:
I've done it on FoD, Pokestadium, and DL64. Airo's done it on Final D. I'm guessing it's impossible at BattleField.
