Launcher takes me to Wii Menu

So I have a Wii at two separate houses and i just started playing PM today. Both Wiis are updated. I played project m earlier just fine on one wii, but with the same SD card and copy of Smash it won't work on the other Wii. It just crashes after I click 'play' on the launcher (I use the A button when i use the launcher) and it takes me to the Wii Menu. Any solutions greatly appreciated.

What I normally recommend to do when this happens is to try loading via Gecko OS instead:

• Install GeckoOS to your SD card (download link, copy the boot.elf from /Gecko1931/HBC/Gecko1931/ to your SD card root)
• Load GeckoOS via the Stage Builder, as usual
• Boot game
