Last night I dreamed we got a playble demo

So the only dream I've had in quite a while (well remembered at least) was last night and it was that we got a playable demo of the game before launch. for some reason the only characters in my dream were the basics like bowser, kirby, yoshi, ect. The demo was pretty sweet, you could do versus mode obviously, and classic mode which if you cleared with everyone unlocked the girl from bayonetta2..... (i've been watching too many trailers). But there was also online multiplayer and a pretty bare bones stage creator. But even still it was better than brawl's.

Putting aside all the details in my dream, I don't think us ever getting a playable demo has ever been brought up. Do you guys think were going to get one? what do you think will be in it. Do you think they'll be smart and add online to the demo so that they can fix the mistakes reported by players between then and launch?

This the 1st time i think they should do a public beta or demo fan feedback would be helpful at least from the people who want a smash that has more good traits from melee and it would be great fun just put 4 basic vets. Samus,Mario,pikachu Link and one or two basic stages. Battlefield and Animal crossing. But we know how nintendo is if it makes sense they aren't doing it.

I hope they put out demos, regardless of if I get to play it or not. That way people can react and publish articles on the feel of the game as of that demo.

I think they would put only a few characters in it. A few basic characters (Kirby, Mario, Pikachu, Link and not samus because then, if final smashes are in the demo, it'll give away whether or not ZSS is back the same way) and one of the characters that is a hype-generator (like Mega Man).

Plus we need to train on the Pro Pad Yo.

Atleast release Smash64 on WiiU VC so we can train with the Pro Pad - RealTalk.

I had a dream that I was playing a demo at Wal-Mart and I was upset that you couldn't do that trick in Brawl that lets you easily Bair while moving forward, then I realized that they switched Kirby's Bair and Fair so I was okay with it lol.

My closest Best Buy was in Arlington, so it was a no go.

I probably have more dreams about Smash than anything else. One was about how Sakurai died of stress from developing it. And the new dev put in those nondescript characters from CoD... What's wrong with me, guys?

XD I had a dream about it once but I forgot. Also I missed the demo which is why I wish they'd upload it to the eshop.

Yes this time for the creators don't screw with us on you guys playing the demo and let's us be able to download it and not after the release

Sadly, game's with demo's don't sell as well as game's without demos. Unless you're minecraft. I guess there's a difference between an open beta and a demo. An open beta is consistently being updated and doesn't block any features. A demo is usually a complete product that blocks features, giving you the impression that it is all the game has to offer. I guess Mario Kart 8 was a Beta Demo? It gave you all the features but didn't update?
