Larger Tournaments enforcing a Dress Code

What if tournaments like APEX or EVO required a dress code so participants would behave similar to the NFL or NBA ?

If the venue is in use for other reasons other than the tournament, then it keeps everyone organized, I guess. Still...it's pretty unnatural.
