Landing Shines

Hey, just wondering if I could start a discussion on how people generally land a shine to start a combo. My main ways are:

• Pillaring
• After a SHL rush
• After a SHFFL'd aerial

What else do people use?

spot dodge>shine
shield shine
Falcon Punch>shine

There are lots of ways to start shine combos, it doesn't really matter. You *will* land a shine, that's not the hard part.

WOw, wat a complete noob. Falcon Punch to shine doesn't work. They can smash DI out of it.

uhh i usually just shffl a dair and shine em at beginning. u could try dashdancing into a waveshine, or u could just shl then shffl a nair into a shine. watever works for u.

watch pro vids to get a better idea, sometimes jumping onto them with a shine works (I mean a midair shine).

yeah, but nobody is ever expecting the falcon punch, so they need insane reflexes to DI in time.

I'm not having problems landing them, and I've watched the videos; I'm just trying to spark a discussion on how people start their beloved shine combos.

Warlock Punch>shine.

alllriiiight.....:D, i use anything i can to land a shine,mostly pillaring, or going in with a nair and shl
