Lagless get up for Gunner

Has anyone figured out timing for lagless get up for gunner? In the video he says timing is slightly different for each character. I can get it sometimes if I do the trick where you hit forward 2-3 times, but I have never gotten it without that or lylat with hours of trying.

I have not tried it with Gunner yet. I will let you know if I can do it.
