I will probably try that, but I will only play it for like 5 matches because I think it will get old fast. But hey, cool idea!

a stage ONLY made with ladders?! That side kind of suicidal, you cant use a slow character like ike or it will be instant death, i don't even think they will allow it...

that maybe so but still, its practically not worth the bother, if is like the Donkey Kong stage where mario was born then maybe it's worth it, not much else really sorry.

If the character needs to land on the stage upon entrance I think you would need at least 4 platform blocks so it couldn't be entirely ladders.

A stage made out of ladders great idea...accept at one point or another, you might have to I dunno...ATTACK on the ladders. And if the Naruto games are any indication, if you can attack on the ladder, it will be %1 damage.

I had a similar idea about a Donkey Kong Country styled level that is just a bunch of hanging ropes. Thanks to the new physics engine in Brawl, maybe jumping from rope to rope would make you swing around. My concept is a longshot compared to the ladder design, as the ropes in stage builder are less likely, and it seems the characters would have to have moves to use while dangling on the ropes(or ladders).
