Konami code unlocking Snake?

I have some weird feeling that the the Konami code will work for something, maybe to unlock Snake. It makes sense.

It might get implemented or referenced somewhere but this Smash... it's hard to tell.
But it would be a cool way to challenge Snake i guess...
