What are your tips on knowing when to grab? My main is Villager, and he has a really slow grab, so if I miss it, I'm gonna get punished pretty bad. How do I deal with this slow grab? Recently I've been pretty much avoiding grabbing with him because of it, and I don't know whether it's actually that bad or I just need to learn to use it.

Also, besides just bad grabs, how do you know when to grab in general? (other than an opponent just shielding)

Thanks!

I would probably punish rolls by grabbing them with Villager... Or approach with rocket and grab since they will shield or spot dodge. Maybe even pivot it if they roll over the rocket. As for me, I tend to grab when opponent rolls, spot dodges, hitting into my shield, following their movement and pivoting, or just when there is a clear opening.

Villager's back throw kills, so his grab isn't totally useless. He isn't the type of character to heavily rely on grabs though.
As for when to grab: shield grabbing is good. Baiting your opponent into a shield and then grabbing them works too.

If people approach with aerial attacks you could try shielding and shield grabs.
