For those not familiar with the term, knitting is the practice of using zdropping and double jump landing ('Q dropping') to cycle through turnips faster to find a stitch, or at least a better one.
I've written this guide with melee in mind, but this technique works in PM too. As far as I know, item throw animations are the same length as in melee, and DJLing is slower by one frame in PM.
