Yeah, I ain't even been here long and i've seen tons of threads and posts about why kirby wasn't in the e for all demo. But there is a very simple reason if you think about it. Kirby has the ability to copy the powers of ALL the characters in the game right, Therefore, could it be possible that kirby not being in the e demo is because they haven't set his moves for the other characters that are yet to be release.... possible? anyone?

EDIT: dang, I spelled kirby wrong...

if you watch the subspace emmisary movie with him and peach, it looks as if his aerial side-b has been changed since the original trailer. if i find a link i'll post it.

EDIT: so i didn't find exactly what i was looking for but here's a start. kirby's dash move has definitely changed, the most obvious look at this is at 1:43.

RE-EDIT: here it is! at both :32 and :36 you can see him clearly using his hammer in midair, except its horizontal and looks more powerful.

kirby uses his hammer at 17 seconds of your second video to and it looks like a fireball. i bet he can charge it because it took some time before he actually got the move off.

I dont really think they did it because they are EXACTLY the same as Melee so its a waste of an update... They only did it for Mario, Link and new comers because they had either alterations and also new moves or just to see what they could do.

nope he dont that's why his moveset WON'T be shown yet or at all

They only did it for Mario due to F.L.U.D.D. and Link for his twilight princess charcterists

Yeah that makes since. Yuuup Kirby gonna be a way better character this time around. Can you imagine if there like 36 characters in Brawl. That mean Kirby can copy 35! That's not even counting zero samus, and pok'e mon trainers pok'e mon.:)

Well also you may notice that at one point in the peach and kirby video, kirby does his running dash attack and instead of a fire ball, spins on his head and hands at his enemies. Im not sure if anyone else noticed him do it though o-o;

His hammer is different and his dash move changed... no way is he EXACTLY the same as in melee

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Kirby got an actual moveset update on the dojo.
We've seen his aerial hammer has changed, we've seen his dash attack has changed, and with recently there's been a lot of dojo updates talking about stuff that I thought wouldn't appear in updates.

"Kirby Hats" update anyone? I can see it happening. Probably shortly after his moveset update which will explain his copy ability and how it works ("just in case we didn't know :p").

Kirby has definately changed and I think for the way better this time around...

Also, really, every time I say this in a post everyone seems to miraculously not see it but am I REALLY the ONLY one who sees two extra final cutter hits in Subspace Emissary movie where he is paired with peach and uses his final cutter close-up against an opponent? (The same where he uses his new dash attack)

The way he uses his Hammer is way better. HE hits front and back this time and it seems way faster.

It would be cool if you could swallow the beam waddle dee king dedede throws out. Then Kirby could transform into beam kirby and wear the jester hat. It would also be nice to swallow items and shoot them back out (bombs, energy beams, items) . If kirby swallowed a bomb he could transform into bomb kirby. I dont know just throwing out ideas

I think that when he gets a copy ability that only his four B moves change and thats it, and he should be able to inhale projectiles and gain abilities from them too (or spit them out)!

Swallowing links bombs should get you bomb kirby, mario's fireballs should get you fire kirby. It makes absolutely no sense that you can't swallow projectiles anyways (You could swallow Gigantic Bowser, but you can't swallow a little bomb? WTF!)

This system IMO would definitely appease us Kirby fans who want his copy abilities and those who want to still copy character abilities.

Its like you said about mario and Link. WHen swallowing these characters for example you would have a choice. For mario it would be have marios fireball or turn into fire kirby. Get links bow or swallow a bomb and turn into bomb kirby. Couldnt you swallow items in the original kirby games? It doesnt make sense why you shouldnt be allowed to do it in brawl. IT would give you alot of different ways to play with kirby and make him alot different then melee

Well I kind of meant that if you swallowed Mario you get Mario's ability or abilities (his B moves). But if you swallowed lets say Mario's fireball or a fireflower or whatever fire object or proectile that you get fire kirby.

However I guess that what you said could work too if you get a choice between getting his moves or fire kirby (for swallowing Mario).

And yes Kirby can swallow items AND projectiles in his games (but there were several projectiles that could not be inhaled). That is how he killed bosses if he didnt have a copy ability. He could swallow their projectiles and shoot them back OR he could copy SOME but not all projectiles.

Maybe because Kirby isn't as popular in America? They had Kirby at JUMP festa or however you spell it
