WHY is there no thread for this? Sweet jesus. Perhaps the greatest RTS series ever (yes, better than starcraft, don't listen to those Koreans) is back. And has been for a quite a while, surprised I didn't notice it missing from here.

For those that don't know: The Red Alert series takes place in a sort of parrallel universe where Einstein created some kind of time machine and removed Hitler from the world, meaning he never got into power, nazis yadda yadda, only Stalin and his soviet army became a massive power and invaded Europe instead. In Red Alert 2 the soviets invaded the USA aided by a man known as Yuri. He could do mind control, was pretty cool. In Red Alert 3 the soviets have somehow removed Einstein to give them a bit of a boost against the Allies ..... only with these two focusing on each other they've completely missed the rise of the Empire of the Rising Sun. It's a big fun series so expect to see lots of stereotypes, e.g. The EotRS have big mecha robots, ninjas and a psychic schoolgirl.

There was a bit of beta going on recently if I remember correctly. Anybody here in it?

Just hope it doesn't suffer too much from being released on consoles. Tried playing C&C3 on my flatmates xbox 360 and it was utter pish.

Anyway you know the standard procedure, who is getting this and when can my Soviets crush you like the pathetic farce of a military force you are?

NB: Unfortunately yes, this game does come with SecuROM.
AND NO WHINING ABOUT EA
