In 1 player story mode in project m kirby has melee prp[erties (Wavedashing, etc.). I wonder what else they're going to do, if anything at all.

All the characters are in the game. The ones not on the character select screen currently are un-altered except on a global sense (like the wavedashing and l-cancelling).

Kirby, like all un-released characters, will receive the appropriate amount of attention, don't worry

That is just Brawl Kirby operating in the Project M engine. Global mechanics affect every character, regardless of what we have or have not done to them.

Ans has already been said, that's literally just Brawl Kirby with some half-functional global changes.
