I was just playing Kirby, and i noticed that my D-air caused tripping (It was on a PAC-MAN and Marth).
Was it always capable of causing tripping? or was this a new thing in 1.0.8?

I've had that happen before 1.0.8 so it's not a new edition.

If I recall correctly, any move has a small chance to trip if it doesn't lift the opponent off the ground (usually this applies to moves with the Sakurai angle - 361 degrees). I think this also applies to weak meteors like Kirby's Dair, which doesn't really cause opponents to bounce off the ground until higher %s.
