Kings of Cali 2 is one of the few Smash tournaments I've been too. I've only ever been to Melee-only tournaments and I always end up using Mewtwo and getting crushed.

Kings of Cali 3 is December 14-15. It's a southern California Melee tournament. My question is, are there going to be any PMBR members there with PM setups, or are there going to be any Project M players there in general who would want to play PM with me after I get crushed without remorse in the Melee tournament? I have my own PM set-up, and if there are people going that would want to play, I was thinking about asking the TO if he would mind if my set-up (Even if only on the second day when they don't need as many set-ups) was a PM only set-up.

Another thing is the small PM playgroup I started would have no interest in a Melee tourney as the characters they use in PM are sucktastic in Melee. So I want to figure out if them going would be worth it. Also, this also may determine if I go, since I'm not sure if I want to spend a lot of money, take off work, and carry my set-up, for my second favorite game in the smash series. It will be more worth it if PM players were there and ready to rumble.

The responses in this thread will most likely determine if I go or not. I await your feedback eagerly.

As much as I like this idea, it's best to ask about PM setups in the tournament thread. It's up to the TO whether or not he is ok with setting aside space for pm setups and such

Well, of course I will ask the TO if it would be OK, but only if it's even worth it. That's why I made the thread: to see if any PM players/PMBR were going. If there aren't any PM players going, I may as well not even bother to bring my PM set-up. Or maybe I might not bother to go.
