everyone has high hopes for new toons and other toons returning, but i was wondering how many we will actually see...

think about it, a new toon is confirmed on average between 10-17 days so lets average this to 14

there are a little more then 3 months left till ssbb which is a little more then 100 days

thats only 7-8 more toons which brings a grand total of 30....

hopefully towards release there are a rush of new challengers emirite?

...no, they're video game characters. Some of them have been rendered as cartoons too, but those were only based on the games.

no they are not. that is one of mthe worst miscatagorizations I have ever heard. they are video game characters. cartoon characters are bugs bunny. they are in no way, shape, or form a cartoon character.

before they were graphically rendered on some form of computer and placed in a video game, the creators had most likely drawn them in some shape or fashion thus ligitimizing the idea that they are, in fact, technically cartoon characters.

Better, but terribly erroneous. A cartoon character is not simply any character that exists as a picture, they are a character from an animated television show or movie. Just being a drawing makes them only that - a drawing. Else one could call the Mona Lisa a cartoon, which clearly it is not. Again, these are video game characters, not cartoons.
