Kinda Dumb Question

What makes him good? I mean like, i've never really noticed but alot of people ( that I have no clue who there names are ) have said that Olimar would dethrone MK for S.S. Tier if his recovery wasn't so bad. I've always sucked with olimar ( i'm good with micro-management but not in video games ) and I'm wondering why people say that statement. This probably sounds noobish but seriuosly, why do people think he's that good?

There's no micro involved with brawl lul, although I guess oli is the closest to it. Firstly, mk would still most likely be better than oli even if he had a decent recovery. Oli's best attributes are his grab (and even better pivot grab) and smashes, along with his combo ability and mindgames, since his smashes are all fast and have similar animations.
