I have no idea why I did this. I wanted to contribute to the Snake knowledge base, so what did I do? I went into training mode, and for each individual character found out the lowest damage to kill them with a completely UNcharged Fsmash at FD. To do this, I walked into each character until they were facing me and standing on the edge of Final Destination. I set the CPU to stand, and fired away. These are the numbers (I only counted kills off the side, not when they dropped to their death):
Mario: 22%
Luigi: 21%
Peach: 20%
Bowser: 25%
Donkey Kong: 25%
Diddy Kong: 18%
Yoshi: 23%
Wario: 24%
Link: 22%
Zelda: 19%
Sheik: 17%
Ganondorf: 22%
Toon Link: 20%
Power Suit Samus: 24%
ZSS: 18%
C. Falcon: 22%
Pikachu: 17%
Pit: 20%
IC: 20%
Rob: 21%
Kirby: 18%
MK: 16%
King DeDeDe: 22%
Olimar: 18%
Fox: 15%
Falco: 17%
Wolf: 20%
Squirtle: 30%
Ivysaur: 8%
Charizard: 23%
Lucario: 22%
Jigglypuff: 16%
MGW: 17%
Snake: 25%
Sonic: 20%

The most WTF character of all was Pokemon Trainer. Squirtle dies at 30% and Ivysaur dies at 8%? The only explanation I can think of is that Squirtle is a water type and Ivysaur a grass type, but I don't think they have elemental effectiveness in this game...
do they?

Oh, crap. I just realized I don't have Lucas, Ness, Marth, or Ike on this list.
I'll have them on by the end of today

I never checked to see if there were type resistances (Water resists Fire), but I know that Ivysaur is weak against fire/explosives.

None the less, thanks for contributing. Although, this wasn't tested with DI. :"|

The fact that this data was based on the edge of FD may mean that they probably won't live anyways, but up/toward DI may save you.

Nice! Thanks for the info (well, basic info without the DI and whatnot, but it's alright).

Snake is a killing machine!

Sheesh! An UNCHARGED FSmash kills faster than Ganondorf's Punch and Jiggly's Rest... Not only that, less lag and punishment time than those two, also. AND kills at extremely LOW percentages.

Add that to all his explosives, his ability to survive incredibly long, and his CromSlide...

Amazing.
