I never played the original Kid Icarus, or the 3ds sequel, Uprising, mainly because I heard that the control scheme was less than favorable, but I have seen the game, and it looks amazing. The gameplay looks stunning on it's own, but the dialogue between characters is one of it's main draws, it really shows that Nintendo is capable of appealing to the west with their writing. The game does not take itself seriously, and that's a good thing, it's full of humorous lines, most of which are delivered by the game's main villain (Those of you who have played the game know who I'm talking about, no spoilers.) In short, Kid Icarus: Uprising looks like a great game that deserves a sequel on the Wii U, what do you guys think?

Kid Icarus Uprising is my favorite game of all time and I love the original Kid icarus as well. However Sakurai has basically said he doesn't want to make another one. I would LOVE if someone took over and made a sequel and put as much heart and soul as Sakurai's team did for Uprising. There is no other game I would want more.

And there is so much potential there as well. Zeus, Hera, Ares, Apollo*, Dionysus, maybe even Nemesis and, of course, the titans, would all make amazing characters. There is so much to be added to the franchise.

So in short yes I think they should make another game. Although maybe on he NX assuming that is coming anytime soon. . .

*Fun Fact, one of Apollo's titles is God of Light, which is Paluena's shtick. Maybe Palutena is Athena and Apollo combined.

Please put it on Wii U, even if it's just a port. I need some solid controls for that game, playing on 3DS is really painful.

I liked the game but I hated the controls.

I'm left-handed so why should I settle for moving around with ABXY buttons? If the game makes me use the touch screen to aim and move the camera, I want to use my left hand for holding the stylus so I can aim and move the camera with ease... but then it means I want to use my right hand to move the right analog stick so I can move Pit smoothly. The 3DS didn't have a right circle pad so I had to move around with the ABXY buttons and I hated that.

I would love this game or a sequel to be on WiiU. I've said it many times - Kid Icarus: Uprising is still the most complete 3DS game out. It uses almost every function of the 3DS.
