Kickstarter Project for Wii U/3DS Stream

Hey guys,

I want to provide the community some awesome material when Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS comes out this October. Then, once the Wii U version is released, I plan to do the same for Super Smash Bros for the Wii U. In order to do this, I want to provide the best quality to have great live streams on Twitch and videos on Youtube.

My goal for the Kickstarter project is $500.

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far, I figured I should do:

• WEEKLY ONLINE TOURNAMENTS (stream them live and post videos to Youtube)

• LET'S PLAY videos

• PODCAST for Smash 4 discussions.

What incentives should I provide for the community?
I really need to know this so I can post them in the kick starter project.
Let me know what may worry you, what you want to see, etc.

Are you just wondering the games I play? I have a scrubby youtube channel from years ago if you want to check that out. But in the end, I'm trying to grow the smash scene. I can try to dig up some twitch channel vids from other streamers if that's what you're asking for

Utah kind of sucks when it comes to posting results. I'll post the few I can find.

As for california from years ago, I have no idea how to find those.

This thread is being closed for numerable reasons.

1) Many content producers, like myself, got started on our own with our own money. Generally, if you want to do a Kickstarter, you do so after you've already proven you are capable of delivering content and want to expand. For example, myself and many others give money out of our pocket to VGBootCamp every month because we know GimR can deliver, and prior to this he got everything started on his own despite working ridiculous hours. I know your post did not explicitly ask for money so much as it just stated your intent, but that goes onto the next point.

2) Even if you do start a Kickstarter, you would be ill-advised to post it anywhere on SmashBoards. While we encourage people to advertise events and locals, the thing with a KIckstarter is it's outright a product, and then if we allowed this we'd have to open the floodgates for others to start pitching products. I know that it is your desire to enrich the community, but others were able to get started without resorting to crowdfunding.

3) You are of course 100% in your right to ask people for advice on a personal level. If you want to ask the Smash 4 forum regulars, the social thread is a good place to start.
