In live tournament play, are there any good methods to keeping your hands and controller dry between matches? Or is it just wipe them down on your clothes? I would imagine that's really the only option as I see the pros do it on streams but figured maybe some of you guys here have other ideas. I've been to a couple of Xanadu events before and I'm wiping my hands on my clothes way too much. I'll be going to Super Smash Con in a couple of weeks so I'm thinking I may bring a hand towel or two with me for this.

If it gets really bad (like if it's hot in the room and we have 40+ people in there) to the point where my hands are getting really sweaty, I just wipe my controller and hands in my shirt.

If you're familiar with bowling at all, lots of people carry rosin bags to dry up their hands if they're slipping out of the ball. You could try a solution like that if it's a serious problem, but really your clothes or some sort of cloth should suffice.

Yeah, a small hand towel would be the best solution to this. Other than that, wear a cotton shirt or something to wipe your hands on.
