Keeping Yoshi's Island Music Consistent

Pretty new to replacing songs and I ran into my first problem. I replaced the first song listed for Yoshi's Island and when it changes seasons the song reverts back to the default one instead of my custom song.

Is there a way to keep it from changing/restarting the song I replaced on this stage?

The first song on Yoshi's Island is actually two songs (One for either season). You replaced the first one, so the second remains unchanged. You might try replacing the second song with the song that you replaced the first one with.

If you replace both, you're going to end up with a song that loops rather uncleanly. Personally, I use the battle encounter theme from Zelda II as the primary and Ocarina of Time's miniboss theme. Switched to two stages of Majora's battle theme recently.

Thanks for the replies all! The more I think about it after reading your responses the answer kind of fell into my lap. Simply replace a song that does not change with the seasons. Off to go test it now!

Edit: Yeah that definitely worked.

You could also add this code to your GCT. It makes it so that it only loads E02, so that the song doesn't interrupt itself.

Yeah, you COULD use the code to stop the songs from switching, but why would you? This is where you get to use your music creativity in a way that no other stage allows.
