Long story short: I'm out of warranty, and it needs a repair.

Is it best just to take it to the Nintendo place in Melbourne, or is there some place where you can get it done cheaper (like at those places they used to have where they advertise repairs and put chips in your consoles so you can play pirated games or whatever). In Melbourne though.

If anybody has had their Wii repaired in Melbourne for somewhere cheaper than the Nintendo place, or if anybody has had to get their Wii repaired at all, your help would be really appreciated.

Wasn't sure where to post this either, so lock/delete/move or whatever if you need to.

i got mine repaired for $70 aswell for a faulty eject button (some1 pulled it off a bookshelf ><) so if its a minor problem and nintendo charge over $70 don't do it, or you can buy a pre-owned from eb for like 241 with a years warranty (i feel like im at work ><)
