in competitive doubles matches, do people ever cancel their teammates lags with low-knockback, low-damage jabs/tilts?
it seems like it just MIGHT be useful sometimes. for example, FD, a pika starts behind his teammate samus, and the opponents are on the other side.
samus (homing maybe) missiles, pika jabs, samus missiles again, repeat.
any projectiles with small startup, but lots of lag afterwards should be sorta good for this.

probably not that useful anyways... especially since the opponent will be taking damage.

Why not just shffl the missile and not do damage to your teammate? :p

shffling missiles is actually pretty slow.
even repeatedly platform cancelling missiles is probably a good amount slower
plus u might not have platforms lol

edit: although if ur pika... u probably might as well let samus do her thing, and try to neutral b over her

basically... i know this isnt the greatest idea... but it might be applicable sometimes... especially if there are good moves for this type of spam that i havent thought of

The only moves it's really worth using on is Rest.

yeah exactly. b/c of that i can try to rest as much as possible on teams b/c my teamate always wakes me up.

You can't shffl a missile. You can short hop and fast fall and cancel the lag of the missile with her landing animation (aptly named missile-cancelling), but you can't shffl it.

Rest is the only real use.

I guess it could be useful for Luigi's upB as well, as it has a lot of landing lag. But, usually, doing that just makes Rest even more deadly than usual and not much else.
