that's basic falco comboing. If you miss a tech after the last dair in the string Falco gets a free utilt, utilt links into another utilt, an uair, an fsmash, or a bair if DI'd hard right or left. Silent wolf missed the DI on the fsmash when he really had no excuse and then panic jumped into the laser because it sent him so low. It's good to know what your opportunities are for extending the combo because against a better player that fsmash gets DId and fox illusion cancels onto the side platform, at least that's what the Foxes I play against do. I started fj shine wavelanding into whatever, if they DI to top platform you can running FJ waveland to top into grab uthrow nair or if they DI to side plat you're already in position for another utilt into an uair string, until they get the hard right or left DI (right has them off stage and is the preferred option, left has them eating a reverse bair).

you end up with more damage than what just an fsmash would give you and both setup for a high fox who can illusion to top or side plats which can be covered by running toward center and bairing on missed illusion cancel because falco's full hop is broken. the cool thing about the uair after utilt is people want to DI for a bair so it's always kind of free.

just something to look into if you aren't playing against foxes with THE WORST DI IN THE WORLD RIP SILENT NOOB

Honestly this is a thing I need to work on, and maybe other players too; When to use your fsmash.
up tilt is an easy trap, because there's so many stuff you can do after an uptilt, that they may tempted to DI away to escape or make it harder for you to follow up with something. But then you fsmash and they die because they DI'd away so hard, lulz

fsmash is safe if you space it perfectly on shield, and if they try to shield grab it will miss giving you enough time for another forward smash, that's a good old school lambchops trick. Also, feel confident forward smashing luigi or ICs when you are at low %, is a bit less difficult to space since it pushes them so hard and even if they get the grab you should be able to mash out of it.

other uses:

to catch rolls, miss tech or w.e tech, on laser reset, edgeguard, random ****, upthrow forward smash against spacies, the rob$, etc.
