Pictures I drew over the Summer...

Nightmare Penguin [Yu-Gi-Oh]
I just got some new prisma markers and I tried them out on this picture buuut.. I used the wrong paper and it looked like crap so I finished it with some prismacolor pencils [not tooo much better]

Injection Fairy Lily [Yu-Gi-Oh]
More recent... Did it on bristol paper.. big mistake.. my colors look all choppy.. The picture is off my phone because the paper I did it on was too big for my scanner.

I assume that the penguin was done on bristol too? For the prisma markers its usually best to use the canson marker pads, maybe water color paper works too? But I don't think so. I actually like the marker on the penguins right leg, the little splotchy area, idk, I usually hate prisma markers and that's a neat "blending" effect i guess. One quirk, the perspective on the hat is a bit off.

And for injection fairy what were you using? The color pencils again? Because I'm pretty sure bristol is good for that as well, not that there probably isnt better. Anywho the coloring looks good, especially on the shot. Very metalic look, though the real shot isnt necesarrily that shiny, I like the freedom/lazyiness you took to not do the whole shot "filled" with whatever it is. At the same time though it looks like a battery lol. Only thing I'll say that is off for this piece is that her right breast wing thing is a bit off, her nose isnt the same animu nose, and that her face is a bit rounder on the edges. ATM the face reminds me of early DBZ faces.
