Just how old is Pit?

it seems (based on the Pit's Descent cutscene) that the development team working on characters definetly made it a priority to lend a certain amount of youthfulness to Pit's movements. Which leads one to believe that Pit is somewhere around young Link's age group (within 3 years or so). If you look at his charachter page on the site, however, he seems about as tall as adult Link.

So, what do you think? Is he more towards young Link's or adult Link's age? Does it indicate it in either of his games?

no... its very common for the japanesse to depict even grown men with youthful traits to emphasize the the purity innocence and altruism of the character

Well in the first game there is a secret ending in which Palutena

so yeah he is a bit younger then link

But I'd like to bet he's around Link's age, since he's just as tall and this is an UPDATED Pit.\

Naw, I'd say about 16 or 15 if anything for LttP Link.

But yeah, based on his looks, Pit looks more like 16-17 to me even by Japanese anime-style standards.

This Pit, although probably not to be considered as cannon for the series, has clearly aged since his adventures in Kid Icarus. I would get him to be between 15 and 18.

Age wise, he looks around 12-15 (Calculating in the difference between Angel years and humans years)

In Kid Icarus Pit was often drinking wine, and even charging things to his credit card.

So despite the name of the game we can assume Pit was already in his twenties.

It's been twenty years since then so I'm going to guess that Pit is a manly 45!

Well in the world of Nintendo, most character's age range in between 10 - 17
I guess its a part of Japanese culture. XD

I'm pretty sure he's not all that old...the series IS called "KID Icarus" for a reason...and he's the only one who really fits the bill for the title in the game. But for an exact date, who knows? It was never officially stated for all I can remember.

Pit has a higher pitched voice, judging by the videos that I've seen. Yet he's taller than a 12 year old.

Point I'm making, is that he has to be an immortal in one sense. I mean, angel - immortal .... makes sense to me.

But then again the name of his game is indeed "Kid" Icarus so I dunno in the end I guess.

In the original Kid Icarus games, Pit was a bit over toddler age, around ten years old. At the end of the game (the best ending) Palutena gives him a kiss and he turns into an older, armored seraph. It´s unclear whether this is a revelation of Pit´s true appearance or Palutena just promoted him to a higher-rank angel after he felled Medusa.

But for SSBB, he has been redesigned with the prepubescent spiky hair LIIIGHT AND DAAARKNESS anime teen look that´s all the shiste these days. Most likely placing him within the age range of characters like Kingdom Hearts´ Sora and all that.
