Hey everyone,
So after lots and lots of searching I managed to get this used for 20euros. Brawl was my favorite game, and I want to get deeper into the series, so I figured this purchase would be worth it.
I played Brawl mostly with a wiimote (thought gc controller was stupid when I was 10 and once I figured it was awesome I owned a Wii U lol) so the controller takes a bit getting used to but I love this game already.
Looked up how to get Marth (my main in Smash and it seems he's S-tier) but I own 1controller so I have to play lots of classic lol.
Does anyone have any tips to get started with maining Marh and getting better at Melee in general? (I know I made a similiar tread but that was more for Brawl)
Already practicing wavedashing, but it's really hard and I think can already L-cancel.

Nice to have another smasher, if you need any help with Marth (SSBM) you can ask me because I used to main him, I switched during sometime in April and won a tournament (local) with my new main only after using him for 4 days, it was absurd. Either way PM me if you want any help with Marth (SSBM) or if you need help with other characters in SSBM or SSBB, I'm good with almost all of the characters, even the low tiers which I use to thrash people in local tournaments and sandbag (I'm decent in SSB64 too and dominant compared to those around me but on a grand scale it is where I am the worst.)

Cool, thanks for the support.

Might as well learn from the guy who pioneered marth:

Awesome, I recognized the guy from a documentary I watched, didn't know he did this kind of stuff. I'll make sure to watch everything when I have the time. Thanks!

Link those vids as well. I just figured that since the vid is pretty long he didn't want to get overwhelmed by multiple vids.

Thanks guys, this way I have some examples of how to improve :D. I've got summer vacation, so I've got plenty of time to watch everything. It'll have to wait for tomorrow though, ma team's playing in 2 hours.
Just tell us if you need some more

If you can, try to get your hands on the 20xx hack pack. I believe you can adjust it to practice chain grabbing spacies with random DI. Also, it will also help you nail L-cancelling; you can have it so your character flash red when you miss a L-cancel. After awhile, L-cancelling will become second nature.

Googled it, and it's a bit to complicated for me lol, since I haven't really done this kind of stuff before. It looks pretty cool though, thanks for the tip.
