Just found out about this place

Hey I've been a smash player since the first time I was able to get my hands on the game series, being the N64 waaay back when I was 7. I've played the games through the generations but have just gotten more into it after meeting some competitive people at my University. After playing with them for a while I've gotten a lot more into the game series as I start to get into the game a lot more, specifically PM. Even though I'm fairly rusty, my aforementioned university friends are starting to get me into the competitive scene by trying to get me to compete in some local tournaments and such. After hearing about this place I immediatly decided to get onto here, wanting to get into a bigger and broader part of the smash comunity~
