I saw a video of Scav playing on a double mario team recently... I was very surprised.
And I saw pictures of Bahamut's wedding, where he was playing with some people.
Someone, a long time ago, linked me to their fanfiction. In retrospec, it probably sucked, but at the time I thought it was amazing. I stayed because I wanted to watch him update it. He didn't, I left, then I cam back a few months later and he had updated, a lot. I looked at his other stories, and began to read those massive (and amazing, no matter what others say) SWF stories. I started to view other parts of the forums. I just posted everywhere for a while, got hated, then the fanfictioner left and I stayed. Over several years where I posted a few times month, I managed to get better and got broom admission, making me spend a ****load of time here. It was only a coincidence that I owned Melee and came here.
I'm not a mod, but who cares. There are only two that actually post in the PRoom anyway.
I was referred here for the Artwork Emporium. Fantasia told me to come here to learn how to use Photoshop, and to look at other people's stuff for ideas/inspiration. Fdv (Fierce Diety Vegeta back then), Thunder Mistress, HondaFoo, an Fantasia are the only people I remember from when I posted back in '02.
So yeah, I registered in '02, never started playing smash until late '06.
And omg, yesterday was my 5th SWFerversary.

I found smashbrosmelee.com back in 2001 when I was looking for information on Melee. Then I found the link to the forums and registered.
I still play Melee with my friends, but I am far from competitive. This is why I do not moderate any of the Melee Rooms.

One of my friends who was BIG into smash started talking about the boards during something for Key Club and he mentioned how they were bashing the hell out of it. Feeling bored, I registered as per his request, and I just kinda forgot to leave...

Excuse my noobishness but, you can become a moderator? What do those different colour names mean anyway? Not the red ones, but the pink, blue and orange ones?

Premium members get a secret ultra-awesome back lounge where they talk about things nobody else could possibly understand. But they don't get a special color.
Red is for power, Blue is for anyone who can hold a tournament in their own basement, Orange is for awesome, Purple is for skills, and Green is for envy of purple. Black is for special.
He didn't even mention pink <_<

I used to play a lot, then stopped. Same thing will likely happen with Brawl unless the online competition becomes relaly engaging, or a lot of my friends decide it's their new passtime.
