Smash Lord
So, the title pretty much sums it up. Long story short, I've been a Smasher since the 64. I was about 4 years old at that time, so I wasn't exactly able to travel and get as into it as I would have liked to in the past, but I just picked up Smash 4, am getting back into the scene once more and would like to start attending tournies again like I had (but more frequently than I used to). However, this being said, I have a few questions that I'm hoping someone may be able to answer for me.
I live in Central PA, I'm looking through tournament listings, but I'm not seeing very many listed locally. Or at least not for the newest Smash. Why exactly is this? Is this eventually going to change? Is it because it's new or is it because... and this brings me to my next question -
What exactly does the competitive scene consist of? Are there any major eSports teams, competitive leagues, etc.? I'm a huge League of Legends player and fan, so if anyone's familiar with the eSports system of this game, or MLG, feel more than free to explain in using these as comparisons.
Any clarification on this subject, to get into this game in the most competitive nature possible is appreciated. Thanks!
