Smash Apprentice

Hey, I'm Alex Bradley, probably better known by my internet handle of InfinityAlex (tfwnoirlfriendssadtimes). I like playing video games other than Super Smash Bros., such as Kirby, Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton, Team Fortress 2 and so on so forth. However, my other true love (not accounting for Cookie Dough Ben and Jerry's) is art. I've been drawing ever since I was a little kid and I like to think I'm pretty damn good at it. My aspiration in life is to become a graphics designer and to be able to work on a lot of great projects (preferably video game related) with a lot of great people.
In Smash 3DS, I main Pac-Man. I attribute this mainly to the awesome factor of his reveal trailer, but it certainly helped that, upon buying myself a 3DS and the game, the character just seemed to fit me like a glove. I consider myself to be in a kind of grey area (where I assume a lot of us are, no offence meant to anyone) of skill in between casual play and high level play; I'm better at the game than your average For Glory Little Mac, but nowhere near good enough to compete at EVO (though that won't stop me from trying when I can as I reckon I'd be able to at least get somewhere high up in the pools!). My first experience with Smash Bros. was Brawl on the Wii. I really loved the Subspace Emissary and being able to play as Sonic, but my impressions have changed a lot now I have Smash 4. While the story mode still holds up well to this day in my opinion (apart from the Great Maze, of course...), the mechanics of the game certainly haven't aged well and now that I've gained more experience with the series I find it easy to see why many find it inferior to Melee. However, I don't like Melee that much either, though this is due to what I feel to be slipperiness in controls (though this could be from playing on a keyboard) and it's lack of accessibility for less skilled players.
Anyway, that's who I am and what I think about Smash Bros.! I'm very happy to finally join this board after the occasional lurker visits!
