At first it sounds good, but I'm thinking it's a lame euphemism and Easy is just very easy and Intense is just Very Hard.
And no one can give you anything any clearer, until Sakurai goes into deep elaboration OR the game comes out.

I hope not. In Melee Very Easy was just ridiculous; the enemy pretty much just stood there and did nothing. Hopefully they just took that out completely (since it's such a worthless difficulty setting), left it for practice mode only, and actually created a mode harder than Melee's Very Hard.

We won't know until we play the game, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to appeal to veteran Smashers so they made them all harder.

I will Play on Hard ,but in Melee after beating the Game it was super fun to play on Very Easy it's like you were a Smash God!

"But, if you choose a harder difficulty, your rewards will be greater. That’s another part of the fun."

So if you play on a harder level you're rewarded more which is Awesome!

Watch the "great reward" is just more coins to buy trophies. I bet.

I assume the "Great reward" will be a character unlock

yeah, hopefully there will actually be something worthwhile to unlock by beating it on the hardest setting without using a continue, unlike in melee

I don't think unlockable Characters or Stages will depend entirely on you beating the game at different difficulty levels. The prizes for that will be probably rare trophies or Stickers. That, or there'll be alternate ways of getting the unlockables (as was the case with melee) so that bad players can still get every character and stage.

Yeah, that'll probably be the case, but still I think that if a character(s) were only unlockable by doing something difficult it would add to the game somewhat (aka necessitate skill, making the average scrub better).

I still remember playing SSB64 and being sooo happy when I unlocked Ness, because I sucked wang back then and normal mode was hard ><

Anyway, it was totally something that I felt proud to have accomplished and I'd certainly not object to something similar implemented in brawl

That's just redefining it...it's still the same ordinal list >_<
