Well, after everyone saw the trailers, we all noticed some of the dodges looked incredibly fast. Some people thought that those were actually wave-dashes. Why would they put wave-dashing in the trailer? The people who thought that was wave-dashing are stupid. I’m pretty sure Nintendo (or who ever the f--- is making the game) is aware of how popular the wave-dash is. However, a glitch is a glitch, and I doubt wave-dashing will be returning now that they’re aware of it. But, those rolling dodges were fast. So, I’ve been thinking: maybe dodging has been improved.

Think about it: the dodging was hella fast in the trailers, I strongly doubt that was wave-dashing and that wave-dashing will be in Brawl. Dodging in Melee was pretty punishable, so maybe the new dodge is a downgraded wave-dash. The dodge is faster and has less lag. It would make more sense to me. That way the wave-dash users would be at least halfway happy. They know how popular it was in Melee.

Just a thought.
