Honestly people, you have to calm down. Now although it's hard to keep telling yourself that the 35 char roster isn't real, you really have to think about the situation at hand here. Here are a couple of facts: Keep in mind though that I am no way in denial about this roster, in fact a don't really care about it. The game is going to be amazing either way, so I doesn't really matter to me. I'm only making this thread because the amount of people jumping the gun about this whole thing is overwhelming and undeniably annoying, especially since THERE IS NO PROOF THAT IT IS TRUE.

1) These "prophets" can very easily get together and form a plan. People here keep acting like they are making these predictions the same coincidentally. Honestly, what are the chances of that?

2) People keep using the assumption that these "prophets" made their predictions about the roster BEFORE the starting roster was leaked. For those people, I have one question for you: how do you know? While the predictions may have been made after the general public got to see the starting roster, there is no way to know whether or not these "prophets" saw it before us. The chances are slim, but hey, you never know.

3) Saying these "prophets" are right is assuming that secret characters on the select screen show up in the way they say it does. They're basically making up the rules of the game, and everyone is believing it. There is a very possible chance that the characters show up in other places than on the mock up, so i don't see why everyone is believing the "prophets" so easily, besides the fact that they made a couple of right predictions prior to this whole incident. Why does this make them credible? It makes absolutely no sense.

Its because people are sheep! They are gullible and need to be lead. And all these prophets are the shepherds...

Right, because seven different individuals, only two of which have any apparent connection at all, and another two of which posted months before any of the rest, all came up with an elaborate plan to trick people into believing a specific roster would be Brawl's final one, even though the whole thing could only last perhaps a week or two after their final posts, and they happened to be right about many of the things they supposedly must have guessed, even though a lot of it was very specific information and things which the rest of the community didn't believe would happen. This type of conspiracy theory stuff just makes no sense at all.

Because I saw most of the leaks as they happened, and those I didn't I checked the dates on. NyaseNya and ChaosZero posted months before the starting roster pictures leak, ShadowXOR a week or two before, and PortraitofRuin and the NeoGaf leakers several days before. Theres no question about this.

Only one of the leakers claimed to know the exact order the roster appeared on, PortraitofRuin. The fact that the starting roster picture seems to coincide with this is just more evidence that he and the others who claimed this roster is the final one is correct, not some integral part of the roster's leak.

As for why people consider them credible, [post=3776328]read this[/post], it ought to explain that.

I agree with Zevox completely, but I am a bit confused with where the starting roster pic (with the 21 ones) comes from - hasn't the nine-second clip and therefore the TV photo been disproven?

Also, the odds of a bunch of leakers overlapping accidentally on some points isn't utterly out there. On which points do they agree?
