Heyo, after a successful first iteration of our Smashfest in December 2014 which had over 120 participants and was officially sponsored by Nintendo we're now ready to announce our second iteration which we want to make even bigger!

The game that will be played for the main tournament is Smash Bros for WiiU

• Event rules and info:
  • Free entry for the participants and visitors
  • We are officially sponsored by Nintendo
  • Registration and reception : 11:00
  • Start of the preliminary matches: 12:15
  • You can bring your own controller but we also provide the gamepad and two gamecube controllers for every tournament station
  • Tournament takes place in a movie theater, so seating opportunities are abundant (200+ seats)It is not allowed to consume your own food or beverages in the venue. You can buy food and drinks on site.
  • Make sure to throw away leftovers and to keep the place as clean as possible.
  • Drugs and alcohol are not allowed! If you are caught with any of the two you will be asked to leave the venue.
  • Deliberately disturbing and/or interrupting someone’s match is not acceptable.We are not responsible for loss of personal property.

• Tournament rules:
  • Mewtwo will be allowed
  • Lucas (if released before June 27th) will not be allowed
  • Preliminary matches will be 2 stock 5 minutes best of three matches
  • Quarter finals will be 3 stock 7 minutes best of three matches
  • Semi and finals will be 3 stock 7 minutes and best of five matches

• Off-tournament opportunities:
  • Biggest plasma screen in Europe to play Nintendo games on
  • Different other off-tournament gaming stations including one SSB Melee station.
  • Distribution of Nintendo goodies through mini-games and quizzes
  • The movie screen of the theater will stream one of the current tournament matches and of course the finals

  • If you are an international player and need a stay for the night before or after our event we suggest the following hotels:
