Jumping with momentum out of a shine

I "discovered" this while playing around with double shines.

It seems a lot faster than wavedashing and might help with comboing slidey characters. I can also shine into an uair which is always a nice twist..

Since most of you guys are hella experienced, I'm wondering what's been done with this before, and if it's useful or not :p

Edit: If there's confusion on what this is, it's dashing into a shine, then jumping while you still retain momentum from dashing.

I have done this with running shields. I didn't know it could be done with shines though. I'm not sure how useful it is as I have never been able to do it more than once in a row however.

problem is that shine is a stupid approach. it doesn't have the priority or range that a nair would, and in turn does not have the ability to be spaced variably. it might be useful for a surprise once or twice but a good opponent wouldn't let you get that close before he attacked you.

shine-upsmash is done like this. otherwise it requires stupid spacing on the shine for a standing shineupsmash
shine-uair is flashy and can be done like this
shine-jc-grab is cool w/ this.
shine nair
shine drill?
shinebair
etc.
not really useful outside of lulz.
other than the crazy jump/shine cancel at the ledge, which is amazing.

Low percent nair->shine is a great setup for this

But I do have to agree that in most cases it's way too hard to land to be considered useful.

One other thing you might be able to do is nair->shine->immediately jump-> shine again for tricky shine spikes..

running shine is a pretty good approach imo
against characters like ICs nairing their shield is a great way to eat a grab, shine is a pretty good way to mix it up and put pressure on them at the same time

but on jumping out of shine, this is how people do running shine turnaound bairs
if you've ever seen that, it's just this mechanic at work
