jump canceled jc grab? someone explain what happened here

did a double jc grab with shiek

ie: i was playing for hours and my hands got jittery so i accidentaly double pressed y to do a jc grab and i got both inputs of jump but got the grab

this is weird since the double jump was canceled with the grab

i think a fram perfect instant double jump is still capable of being jump canceled

not that this has any use to it i just found this discovery interesting.

Jump cancelled moves occur before you leave the ground. If you press grab once you've left the ground, you'd do an aerial. You can't double jump until you've left the ground.

So I think it comes down to these scenarios:
1) Double jumping on frame 1 after jumpsquat actually makes it so you can do a grab (even if there is only a 1-frame window). I don't think this is the case.
2) You pressed Y twice before jumpsquat ended and then still got the grab in before leaving the ground.
3) The first jump wasn't registered.
4) You remember what you did incorrectly.

I would like to know what makes you think that you double jumped at all to reach that conclusion.
