I am back from the AWESOME EVO trip, and courtesy of my Vegas winnings, I am adding the RUNNER UP BRACKET with a prize pot of $50!

WHAT IS THE RUNNER UP BRACKET!?
The Runner Up Bracket is a 10 player bracket for players JUST barely outside of top 6.
These players qualify
The 2 7th place finishers
The 4 9th place finishers
and the 4 13th place finishers.
These 10 competitors will duke it out for
1st Place - $35
2nd Place - $15
This is a single elimination bracket that will occur simultaneous to the regular bracket's finals.
2/3 bracket, 3/5 Grand Finals with the regular singles ruleset.
NEW VENUE:
Kintech Houston
A local IT Support/Phone repair shop that is fully supportive of letting us come in and play Smash.
Store Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
(Stays open after hours for the tournament)
No outside food or drink allowed (besides water bottles)
Snacks and drinks are sold by the venue at a low rate. Also nearby the venue is a Subway, Whataburger, and more. However, to leave to get food mid bracket you MUST ask me first. Depending on the flow of the tournament you may be able to get food.
Schedule:
2:00 p.m. - Krebs+Remo begin setting up
3:00 p.m. - 1v1 and 2v2 Registration begins
4:00 p.m. - 2v2 Tournament begins
5:30 p.m. - 1v1 Tournament begins
Event Fees
$5 Venue fee
(waived for bringing a TV+Wii U+Sm4sh+GC Adapter with everything needed unlocked) Wii U must be updated to current format
$5 1v1
$5 per player 2v2
PAYOUT (100% payout of event fees)
1v1 (64 entrant cap)
1-31 entrants
1st: 55%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 12%
4th: 8%
32 entrants+
1st: 50%

6 teams or less:
Winner take all
7-10 teams
1st: 75%

11-19 teams

Neutrals:
- BattleField/Miiverse (meaning if you strike one, you strike both)
- Smashville
- Town and City
- Dreamland
- Final Destination
Counterpicks:
- Wuhu island
- Delfino plaza
- Skyloft
- Duck hunt
- Halberd
- Castle Siege
- Lylat Cruise
- Any omega stage (banning this also bans FD)
Stage Striking Order:
1-2-pick for starters and TWO bans for the winner after that for every game
3 stocks
8 minute time limit
Items set to "Off" and "None"
Team attack ON in doubles
Equipment is banned
Custom moves are banned
Pausing results in a stock loss, unless it is for the opposing player's controller malfunction.
(Same as SFC9)
