Price: $5 per Bracket (As of right now just Melee singles/doubles double elimination but PM and Sm4sh are possible)
Prize Pool: Split (60,30,10) for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Schedule (Can Change):
10am - Registration, Bracket Setup, and Friendlies
11am - Melee Doubles
1:00pm - Melee Singles (Possibly earlier depending on how long doubles takes)
About:
Hi everyone. My name is Peter and I'm 16. I'm hosting a small tournament at my local library and was first planning for it to only be for people I know. I didn't get many RSVPs so I'm putting it on here to get some of you to come! As of right now, a fair amount of the people coming don't really have a knowledge of any tech skill or anything like that. I started playing with tech skill only a few months ago and am not too good. We are all looking to improve and have some fun! Not planning on too much of a turn out but would love to have some more people. As of right now I'm looking at a possible 9 including me. The people coming right now are high schoolers, but you don't have to be in high school to come.
Also, I will be grabbing some pizzas in between Doubles and Singles for anyone that wants some
The Venue:
Most of the chairs will be removed for the Tournament
It will be at my local library but in their program rooms which are used for lectures and other things of the sort. The Program Rooms are actually just one room that are split by a divider that will be taken down for the tournament so it is actually just one room.
Legal Stuff:
By entering this tournament you agree that you will follow all the rules given. There will be no refunds for your money and I expect everyone that comes to be respectful of all of the equipment and people attending. We will not take responsibility for lost items so keep your stuff safe. There's a possibility that bags may be searched to prevent theft.
