Hosted by me. If you want in, sign up in this topic. It's going to be a long competition, but I'll give pleanty of time. Here are the rules as of now.
If there are enough users, I'll consider it. Though, if you don't plan on devoting time to it, you'll fall off the rankings. But I'll give plenty of time. Here's my idea....
I'm not so sure of machine selection. But there are 2 or 3 parts to the challenge.
1. Individual best time on ALL the 26 tracks. You can update your times once you get a better one. This is a max speed competition, but I will allow lower % settings. No snaking, or flying allowed, or glitching. Shift boost, MTS, MTRS, side attacks, MT, quick turn, suicides, any max speed techs listed here: http://www.mrfixitonline.com/viewtopic.php?t=463
are allowed, since the best will also play. There'll be rankings for every track, so don't feel too bad if you sucked at a few tracks (Trident for me...)
2. This will be done in practice mode, recoveries on. You have to go through all 26 tracks on your first time through. No restarts allowed, and no updating times. This will be a true test of your F-Zero skills. If you fall, don't restart, that is what the recovery is for. It'll be 3 laps, don't boost on the first.
3. There'll be 5 voted tracks on each cup. You can choose any custom car of your choosing. Times can be updated. This time you'll go for your own PR, go as fast as you can.
Bonus: Maybe on fastest lap? I'll think about it. But most defineitly I'll need another person to help me run this competition.
I'm not sure how I'm gonna rank this. I might include small handicaps for those who cannot do certain techniques. Post if you are interested in this.
-Also, Japanese parts are banned. First part you get a custom and non custom car. Second part, one car the whole way. Third part, any car you like for any track. Top times will need pictoral or video proof. Please if you know any other people who plays this game, invite them to check this post out.
