jc shield shine to break pillar?

ok, if someone is perfectly pillaring you i was just wondering if the jc shield to shine would counter it everytime if you were frame perfect also....

i know you would have to do it after the enemies shine, but before his dair... which gives you about 4-5 frames to jc shield shine (or something like that isnt it?)

i was just wonderin how many frames it takes to sheild jc shine... ima guessing somewhere around two to three frames ima guessin....

i dont know could someone help me out here... ive seen it done, but if you could perfect the timeing could you beat the pillar once and for all?

Yes, JC shine is one frame faster than shieldgrabbing for fox, and one slower for falco. Just do it right after he shines and it's almost 100% unless they full jump out, which is why you'll often see Falco players wd back after the shine.

If someone is doing it to you, shine JC grab, it'll throw them off hard, trust me on this.

but if its one frame slower than falcos shieldgrab... wouldnt that make it not 100% garunteed?
maybe im just off on my frame information here....
and ive been using jc shield shine, to try this for a while, and like you said its a wavedash back outa the shine once they realise thats wat your gonna do, and then i just shl outa my shine... that works for me, but is there something more blamsworthy?
