Javi Claw/Arcade style

I use the Javi Claw and I main mostly fox and samus. I use left index for L and left thumb for control stick. My right hand is middle finger for x and index for A, B, and c-stick(also thumb occasionally). I was wondering what variations of the arcade grip people use. Also, I have a lot of trouble with grabs, how do people deal with not being able to get to z? I try L + A but it is hard to standing grab vs. running grab.
